A new wave of young tech talent is stepping into Nepal’s digital future. Samsung Nepal has celebrated the graduation of students from its Coding & Programming course under the Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC), while also opening doors to a brand‑new Artificial Intelligence (AI) programme.
The six‑month course, held from December 22, 2025 to June 30, 2026, gave participants hands‑on training, project‑based learning, and exposure to real industry practices. Their achievements were recognized at a graduation ceremony that marked not just the end of a course, but the beginning of new opportunities.
Samsung Nepal’s Managing Director, Chang Uk Jung, reflected on the journey, “When I attended Samsung Innovation Campus shortly after arriving in Nepal last December, I saw tremendous potential in Nepal’s young talent. Today, I am proud to see that potential turning into real achievement.”
He emphasized that as AI reshapes industries worldwide, nurturing digital talent is more critical than ever.
Launched in Nepal in 2023 as part of Samsung’s CSR vision “Together for Tomorrow! Enabling People”, the Innovation Campus has been more than just technical training. It also helps students sharpen workplace skills like communication, collaboration, and critical thinking—essentials for thriving in the modern job market.
As per the company, the newly announced AI programme will focus on practical, hands‑on learning, preparing participants to apply artificial intelligence in real‑world scenarios. Samsung hopes this will not only open career opportunities but also inspire innovative solutions to Nepal’s development challenges.
Beyond the classroom, graduates will continue to receive mentorship from Samsung employees and industry experts, take part in innovation projects, and benefit from career guidance. Plans are also underway to build a Samsung Innovation Campus Alumni Network, keeping graduates connected and engaged.
Samsung believes collaboration between academia, industry, and government will be key to strengthening Nepal’s AI ecosystem, creating jobs, and accelerating digital transformation.
