MAW Vridhi has been honored with the Pioneer in New Energy Promotion Award for Foton Commercial Vehicles at the Foton Global Conference 2026 held in Beijing.
The recognition, presented among over 140 participating countries, marks a proud moment for Nepal, which has become one of the largest EV markets for Foton globally. Today, Foton holds the No. 2 position in Nepal’s commercial EV segment — a milestone that reflects the country’s growing progress and leadership in sustainable mobility.
The award was presented by Vice President of Foton Motor, Mr. Qin Zhidong, and received by Mr. Vivek Sikaria, Managing Director of MAW Vridhi.
This achievement is a result of the hard work, dedication, and shared vision of everyone who has contributed to Foton’s success in Nepal. MAW Vridhi extends its sincere gratitude to the entire team and to Foton for their continued trust and partnership.
Together, they are driving Nepal’s transition toward electric mobility and helping position the country as a key player in EV advancement across South Asia.
The Foton Global Partners Conference 2026, held in Beijing from November 6 to 10, brought together more than 2,000 partners from over 140 countries under the theme “A Shared Vision: To Be a World-Class Commercial Vehicle Enterprise.”
The event showcased 110 state-of-the-art commercial vehicles and offered valuable insights into the latest innovations shaping the future of the industry.
