The ICT Foundation Nepal is organizing the fifth edition of the Digital Nepal Conclave 2026 on September 20, 2026 (Ashoj 4, 2083), Sunday, at The Plaza, Pulchowk, Lalitpur.
The ‘Digital Nepal Conclave 2026 in Association with TingTing and ThirdFactor AI’ will bring together policymakers, government officials, private-sector leaders, technology experts, development partners, investors, startups, academics, and young innovators to discuss key issues surrounding digital governance, data, artificial intelligence (AI), public services, digital resilience, and the digital economy.
This year’s theme is ‘Building Digital Resilience: Redefining Governance, Data and the Digital Economy.’ The Conclave will place particular emphasis on strengthening digital systems and exploring how technology can support more resilient, inclusive, capable, and citizen-centric public services, particularly during disasters and other emergencies.
As per the company, the event was originally scheduled for August 27, 2026 (Bhadra 11, 2083) but was postponed following the devastating floods and landslides in Rasuwa. The rescheduled Conclave has been further refined to incorporate discussions on disaster and digital resilience alongside broader issues of digital transformation.
ICT Foundation Nepal has been organizing the Digital Nepal Conclave as a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and policy discussion on digital transformation and the development of Nepal’s digital ecosystem.
Razan Lamsal, President of ICT Foundation Nepal, said the Conclave has evolved into a common platform bringing together key stakeholders from across the digital technology ecosystem.
“The Conclave has been developed as a common platform for dialogue, collaboration, and policy discussions among stakeholders in the digital technology sector. This year, with digital resilience at the center, we have given special importance to digital governance, data, AI, public services, and the digital economy,” he said.
Beginning at 9:00 AM on Sunday, the Conclave will feature more than three keynote speeches, over five thematic panel discussions, Power Dialogues, Digital Spark presentations, and a Digital Leadership Dialogue. More than 50 national and international experts are expected to participate as speakers across various sessions.
The event will also showcase digital technologies and solutions developed in Nepal. More than 25 companies and organizations working in Nepal’s digital and innovation ecosystem will showcase their technologies and solutions, while more than 10 innovations will present their ideas through dedicated pitching sessions.
According to the organizers, more than 500 participants are expected to attend the Conclave, including government officials, policymakers, private-sector representatives, technology industry leaders, startups, investors, academics, development partners, and young innovators.
The Conclave will also feature showcases and presentations highlighting locally developed digital technologies, innovations, and solutions.
