The Nepal Association for Software and IT Services Companies (NAS-IT) has successfully concluded the Nepal Tech Roadshow UK 2026, showcasing Nepal’s growing technology capabilities, skilled talent and potential to expand into international markets.
Held on 9 September 2026 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, London Heathrow, the roadshow focused on connecting Nepal’s technology ecosystem with the UK’s business, investment and technology community.
As per the organization claims,the event highlighted the diverse areas in which Nepali technology companies are developing and delivering services, including cybersecurity, IT services and BPO, custom web and application development, cloud infrastructure, data engineering, product and technology development, and artificial intelligence (AI).
Bibhusan Bista, Vice President of NAS-IT, presented an overview of Nepal’s ICT ecosystem, technology capabilities, skilled talent and the country’s potential to serve international markets with technology services and solutions.
The roadshow also brought together perspectives on Nepal–UK trade, investment and commercial cooperation. Bipin Duwadi, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. at the Embassy of Nepal in London; Anup Shrestha, Head of Trade and Investment – Business, Innovation, Science & Trade at the British Embassy Kathmandu; and Biraj Bhatta, Chairman of the Britain Nepal Chamber of Commerce, shared their perspectives on strengthening business, trade, investment and digital collaboration between Nepal and the UK.
The event also featured presentations from Nepali technology leaders on their international experience and sector-specific capabilities.
Nirdesh Dwa, Co-Founder of inGrails, spoke about product and technology capabilities, scalable solutions and Nepal’s potential in international technology markets. Dr. Vaghwan Ojha, Head of AI Department at EKbana, presented on artificial intelligence, research, data, applied technology and enterprise software engineering.
Anjani Phuyal, CEO of Genese Solution, shared the company’s international experience in cloud computing, cybersecurity, AI and digital transformation, including its international business growth and expansion.
Similarly, Suraj Gyawali, CTO of Simplified Solution, shared experience across payments, cybersecurity, fintech, cloud modernisation and digital transformation in international markets.
Ratish Basnyat, Team Lead at Nepal in Business – Growth Advisors, spoke on private-sector development, trade and investment, policy reform and opportunities for international market access.
NAS-IT said the roadshow demonstrated that Nepal is not only a market for technology services and solutions but also has the capability to develop technology, deliver services and provide skilled talent to international markets.
Nepal in Business (NiB), implemented by DAI Global UK, was the Supporting Partner of the roadshow. A total of 17 Nepali technology companies participated in the event.
The participating companies were Aakash Tech, AITC International, Code Pixelz Media, CodingMountain, Dots and Dashes Technology Services, EKbana Solutions, Eminence Ways, FOCUS, Genese Solution, inGrails, Jasper IT, Mantra Ideas, Proshore Nepal, TechKraft, Tekkon Technologies, Web Experts Nepal and Young Innovations.
