The governments of Nepal and China on Tuesday held a joint press conference and unveiled the new height of 8,848.86 meters of Mount Everest.
The Government of Nepal and the Chinese government team measured the height of Mount Everest separately and submitted the report to the technicians on both sides. Foreign Minister Pradip Kumar Gyawali, Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Padma Kumari Aryal, and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in China along jointly unveiled the new height.
