काठमाडौं ।

NIBL Equity Partners, managed by NIMB Ace Capital Limited, and Incessant Rain Studios have signed a term sheet for an investment in Lost In Mandala, an original animated feature film being developed and produced in Nepal for global audiences. The investment will support the film’s production and related project activities in Nepal.

Established to co-produce Lost In Mandala, Incessant Rain Studios is developing the project together with Lost in Mandala LLC. Through the proposed transaction, NIBL Equity Partners intends to invest up to NPR 100 million with Incessant Rain Studios, subject to completion of definitive agreements and applicable conditions.

“This partnership is intended to boost Nepal’s animation industry and put Nepali Animation in the world map. It also focuses on the importance of supporting original intellectual property with strong global potential. Lost In Mandala represents the kind of ambitious, locally rooted project that can benefit from structured local support as it moves toward production,” said Shivanth B. Pandé, CEO of NIMB Ace Capital Limited.

Previously, NIMB Ace Capital has supported the project’s journey by facilitating fundraising initiatives and presenting Lost In Mandala to investors and invited guests through an exclusive showcase event at QFX Cinemas.

Lost In Mandala is an animated fantasy adventure created and directed by Kiran Bhakta Joshi, inspired by the spiritual traditions, mythology, and breathtaking landscapes of the Himalayas.

Created with a vision to share Nepal’s stories with the world, the film explores themes of belonging, friendship, compassion, and self-discovery through a globally crafted animation experience.

The screenplay features contributions from Zack Stentz (Thor, X-Men: First Class, Netflix’s Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous), and the film is produced by Deepa Chipalu Joshi.

With this partnership, NIBL Equity Partners and Myth Terra Pvt. Ltd. aim to support the continued development of Lost In Mandala as it moves toward production and its goal of reaching audiences worldwide.
