Nepal Telecom is rapidly expanding FTTH services throughout the country while providing state-of-the-art telecommunication services. Despite this, the process of establishing access to this service in some places is still going on according to the customer’s demand.
In view of the demand of the customers, regarding the availability of this service, arrangements have been made to get the necessary information from the representative of the customer service center by dialing the toll-free number 198-1 (dial 198 after receiving the message and then dial 1) and register the service request.
Telecom has informed that from Monday, June 11th, customers all over the country who want to get FTTH service can dial 198-1 and register their demand for the service and location they need in advance. The company will connect FTTH to those locations as soon as possible.
It said that FTTH service will be provided by building infrastructure as far as possible in places where there is no network.
FTTH service provides telephone, high speed internet and television service over a single fiber.
