MAW Vriddhi has officially launched the all-new Deepal Nevo Q05 in Nepal, introducing a compact electric SUV designed to deliver an “A Class Above” experience in comfort, design and technology.
The Q05 was unveiled at a grand launch event attended by Vishnu Kumar Agarwal, Chairman of MAW Vriddhi; Vivek Sikaria, Managing Director and Du Kaikian (Kevin), Regional Manager–South Asia at Changan International Corporation.
As per the company, the Q05 has been introduced at a special price of Rs. 46.99 lakh for the Max variant and Rs. 49.99 lakh for the Ultra variant. These introductory prices will remain valid during the NADA Auto Show. Afterwards, the Max variant will be priced at Rs. 48.99 lakh and the Ultra variant at Rs. 51.99 lakh.
The Q05 combines compact exterior dimensions with a spacious and practical cabin. Its class-leading 2,735 mm wheelbase and 86.6 per cent cabin-space utilization provide generous passenger room, including comfortable rear seating for three adults.
The rear seatback offers two reclining positions of 28 and 33 degrees, while the seats feature an ergonomic nine-layer construction. The Q05 also provides a 540-litre dual-level boot with 90 litres of concealed storage, up to 29 practical storage spaces and more than 67 sound-insulation and noise-reduction points. Selected variants also offer a 1.8-square-metre panoramic glass roof with a powered sunshade.
The Q05 was developed under the leadership of Klaus Zyciora, Changan Global Design Vice-President and former Head of Design at Volkswagen Group. More than 915 design professionals from 31 countries contributed to its development.
Inspired by the Fuguang design philosophy, the Q05 combines balanced proportions, a confident road presence and an aerodynamic profile with a drag coefficient of 0.265 Cd. Winner of the 2026 Golden A’ Design Award, it features the Digital Wing 2.0 full-width lighting signature, star-ring matrix LED taillights and premium semi-hidden door handles.
The Q05 uses CATL battery cells integrated with Changan’s Golden Shield Battery 2.0 technology. Its 3C fast-charging system can charge the battery from 30 to 80 per cent in approximately 15 minutes under suitable conditions.
As per the company claims, a 120 kW electric motor enables acceleration from zero to 100 km/h in 8.1 seconds. The Q05 offers 405 km under WLTPC testing, with energy consumption rated at 12.9 kWh per 100 km.
Its technology package includes a 14.6-inch 1080P touchscreen, an automotive-grade MTK8675 seven-nanometre processor, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and, depending on the variant, up to 18 driver-assistance functions and a 540-degree panoramic viewing system.
During the launch, MAW Vriddhi announced the “Ambassadors of Deepal,” including Brand Ambassador of Deepal Paras Khadka and reknowned and trusted personalities Anoop Bikram Shahi, Pradeep Khadka, Shweta Khadka, Anna Sharma, Jassita Gurung, Swopna Suman, Jyotsna Yogi and Miruna Magar who are the real owners of Deepal. They were felicitated by Chairman Vishnu Kumar Agarwal.
