The Press Registrar’s Office, Gandaki has started online registration and renewal service of broadcasting organizations.
For the first time, renewal certificates were provided from the province to radio and television stations that were renewed online on Friday.
With this, the obligation to go to Kathmandu to renew the licenses of broadcasting organizations operating within Gandaki Province has been removed, said Press Registrar Bimala Bhandari.
The online service will save time and expense for registration and renewal of radio and television stations, while also reducing administrative hassles, says Registrar Bhandari.
She also shared that a request has been made to the federal government for policy-level arrangements for the registration and renewal of online media outlets to be done from the provinces. RSS
