In celebration of the auspicious month of Shrawan, Nepal’s leading digital wallet, eSewa, successfully hosted a two-day festive event titled ‘Shrawan ra Shringaar’ at Labim Mall, Pulchowk, Lalitpur, on 8–9 August 2026 (Shrawan 23 and 24).
Open to the public, the event welcomed eSewa users, social media followers, and visitors from all walks of life, who joined the festivities with their families and friends. The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation throughout the weekend, bringing together people to embrace the festive spirit of Shrawan and Teej.
Inspired by the traditions and joy of Shrawan and Teej, the event featured professional mehendi sessions, an instant Polaroid photo booth for memorable keepsakes, and interactive games where participants won exciting prizes, creating a vibrant and engaging festive experience for attendees of all ages.
The ‘Shrawan ra Shringaar’ event served as an on-ground extension of eSewa’s month-long #SheIsTheGreenFlag campaign, which celebrates women who inspire confidence, encourage aspirations, and positively impact the lives of those around them. By bringing together festive traditions, interactive experiences, and community participation, eSewa created a memorable celebration that reflected the joy of Shrawan and Teej while reinforcing its commitment to recognising and appreciating women every day.
