Yango Ride platform, part of the global technology company Yango Group, is celebrating its first anniversary in Nepal, marking one year of providing safer, affordable and reliable mobility solutions all while creating earning opportunities for thousands of people across the country.
Since the services started exploring the Nepal market in May 2025, users of Yango Ride have covered a whopping distance of over 226 million kilometers – enough to go to the Moon and back nearly 300 times. Today, more than 1 million people travel with Yango Ride every month, highlighting the growing demand for reliable and accessible mobility services.
Yango’s moto service has seen particularly strong growth, recording a 247% increase in trips over the last six months, while the platform continues to maintain an average monthly growth of 30%.
As per the company claims, over the past year, Yango Ride has also focused primarily on supporting local partners and their drivers across the country. The service has supported more than 15 partner driver-focused events in Kathmandu and one in Chitwan, recognizing top performers, providing training opportunities, and strengthening engagement with its partner community.
Commenting on the milestone, the Country Manager for Yango Ride in Nepal, Santosh Pandey stated: “I am extremely happy and proud to share this achievement with my fellow citizens of Nepal. Soon after the launch, Yango Rides received great response in terms of customer love as well as local partnerships embedding the essence of Nepali culture such as sponsoring the Lumbini Lions cricket team in the Nepal Premier League.
.The platform expanded its offer launching Yango Delivery in Nepal, offering cargo and express delivery tariffs. At the moment, Yango also is at the center of moving items across Kathmandu in addition to moving people.
As Yango enters its second year in Nepal, the platform remains focused on establishing a strong local presence, enhancing service quality, expanding opportunities for people through multiple everyday services, and continuing to contribute to Nepal’s growing digital mobility ecosystem.
