Nepal Tech Roadshow USA 2026, organized by the Nepal Association for Software and IT Services Companies (NAS-IT) in collaboration with the Nepalese American Chamber of Commerce (NACOC), concluded successfully in Dallas, Texas, with the objective of creating global awareness around Nepal’s growing technology ecosystem and strengthening confidence in Nepal as an emerging technology destination.
The event aimed to send a strong message to the international community that Nepali tech companies and professionals are equally capable, competitive, and ready to contribute at a global level, positioning Nepal as a potential future tech hub in South Asia.
Held at Embassy Suites by Hilton Grapevine, the event brought together technology leaders, entrepreneurs, diaspora professionals, investors, and businesses from both Nepal and the United States. The venue witnessed overwhelming participation, reflecting growing curiosity and interest in Nepal’s rapidly evolving IT industry and outsourcing capabilities.
Throughout the program, speakers highlighted Nepal’s expanding software and IT services sector, growing engineering talent, startup ecosystem, export potential, and increasing global competitiveness.
Industry leaders including Richan Shrestha, Himal Karmacharya, and Shankar Uprety shared insights into Nepal’s digital transformation journey and the opportunities emerging within the country’s tech ecosystem.
Presentations highlighted that Nepal’s IT sector now includes more than 2,000 technology companies, over 100,000 tech professionals, and nearly $1 billion in annual IT exports, demonstrating the scale and momentum of the industry.
Many attendees from the diaspora community expressed surprise at the progress Nepal’s technology sector has achieved in recent years.
Building on the momentum of Nepal Tech Roadshow Sydney 2025 and the recently held Nepal Tech Connect San Francisco session, the USA Roadshow further strengthened Nepal’s international technology presence and opened new opportunities for collaboration, investment, outsourcing partnerships, and diaspora engagement.
Organizers emphasized that initiatives like these are important in reshaping global perceptions of Nepal and showcasing the country not only as a tourism destination, but also as a rising force in technology and innovation.
