Ting Ting takes a global stage at Web Summit Qatar 2026

काठमाडौं ।

Ting Ting, a leading Nepali company working on AI-powered businesses communication, has successfully concluded its participation at Web Summit Qatar 2026, marking a historic moment for the nation’s technology sector.

As the sole representative from Nepal at one of the world’s most prestigious tech gatherings, Ting Ting showcased the power of homegrown innovation to a global audience of investors, world leaders, and industry pioneers.

As per the company claims, the four-day event in Doha brought together over 1,600 startups from 120 countries and more than 700 world-class investors. Participation in the summit is governed by a rigorous selection process that vets thousands of global applicants. Ting Ting’s selection as Nepal’s only representative was a recognition of its “Understanding Engine” and the technical sophistication of its proprietary RIRI voice engine, a system built and trained entirely on Nepali soil.

Ting Ting’s journey to the global stage is rooted in its “Made in Nepal, for the world” philosophy. Before heading to Qatar, the technology was rigorously battle-tested within the local market, managing complex communication infrastructures for major banks, ISPs, and government institutions.

Having proved its stability and scalability at home, Ting Ting is now focused on scaling its services globally, proving that high-stakes technology can be exported from Nepal to the rest of the world.

A key highlight of the event was the Startup Showcase, where Ting Ting’s Director of Engineering, Anjelika Sah, presented the company’s vision and technology on the global stage. While the platform has mastered the complexities of the Nepali language, the showcase revealed Ting Ting’s ongoing work in expanding to other regional and international languages, positioning it as a versatile solution for global enterprises.

The event led to a series of high-level connections and meaningful conversations with international partners. The interest generated by Ting Ting’s technology underscores a growing global appetite for localized AI solutions that can operate in complex, low-resource linguistic environments.

TingTing’s successful run at Web Summit Qatar as the sole representative from Nepal comes not even one year after the company’s establishment. It represents more than a corporate achievement.

This achievement highlights a shift in the local ecosystem, moving from the consumption of foreign services to the development of local AI technologies capable of competing internationally. By competing and collaborating at this level, Ting Ting has demonstrated that global-standard AI infrastructure can be built and scaled within Nepal.

“This journey has proven that the future of technology isn’t just about where it’s built, but how deeply it understands the people it serves,” the company noted following the event. As the team returns to Kathmandu, the momentum gained in Qatar is expected to accelerate Ting Ting’s mission to help organizations communicate better and understand deeper across every single channel.
