काठमाडौं ।
Yango Group continues to expand its services in the Nepali market and launches an express and cargo delivery solution in the Yango app — Yango Delivery.
As per the company claims the service offers a convenient and efficient C2C and SMB solution for transporting parcels across Kathmandu. The Yango app now combines both ride-hailing and delivery solutions to simplify daily mobility routines for residents and visitors of Kathmandu.
With this launch, users in Kathmandu can select from three delivery options:
● Moto courier: for smaller packages and documents
● Car courier: for medium-sized items
● Cargo: a newly introduced option for larger items
As urban lifestyles and small businesses increasingly rely on quick, convenient logistics, the new in-app options aim to support both C2C users (sending between individuals) and SMBs that need an easier way to move items across the city.
“Our goal is to make sending and receiving items in Kathmandu more convenient by offering multiple delivery options in the app, so users can choose what fits their needs,” said Mohammad Ahsan Akbar, Regional Head, South Asia at Yango Delivery. “Whether it’s a small package or something larger, the idea is simple: open the app, select the right option, and request a delivery through our service partners.”
Flexible options for different needs
The delivery feature is designed to serve a wide range of everyday scenarios, from sending documents and small parcels to delivering medium-sized items and larger purchases. The newly launched Cargo option helps address deliveries that typically require larger vehicles, making it easier for users to transport bulky goods within Kathmandu.
Technologies for digitising cities
Yango Delivery uses routing and batching algorithms to increase logistics efficiency. The technology helps utilize transport optimally and improves on-time delivery rate regardless of traffic conditions. All packages managed through Yango Delivery are traced through the live-tracking tool making the delivery transparent both for partner couriers and consumers.
The service does not operate its own cars or couriers, but rather focuses on providing digital assistance for local Nepali transportation companies and improving their efficiency by tech solutions in last-mile connectivity.
Yango helps its partners diversify services both in ride-hailing and deliveries, opening more earning abilities for the partner drivers. Yango Delivery aims to enhance express delivery accessibility and provide a convenient and reliable option for daily needs in Kathmandu.
Yango Group, as the company claims, entered the Nepali market with the launch of a city services’ app, Yango, in May 2025. The ride-hailing solution became the first service available in the app during its test run in Kathmandu. The Yango app now combines both ride-hailing and delivery solutions to simplify daily mobility routines for residents and visitors of Kathmandu.
