Dailo Krishi, a digital-first platform dedicated to connecting farmers with households through its farm to table model, has partnered with Munaa Krishi Limited, a social entrepreneurship and agri-business initiative of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA).
Munaa Krishi uplifts farmers by promoting Neglected and Underutilized Crops (NUS) and traditional farm products, while Dailo Krishi makes these products accessible to people all over Nepal.
The partnership officially commenced on Sunday, Bhadra 1, 2082, marking the beginning of a joint effort to highlight Nepal’s agricultural heritage while supporting hundreds of farmers and cooperatives nationwide.
The initial line of products being introduced includes gundruk, sinki, bango (hemp seed), besar (turmeric), chamomile, belichan (hibiscus tea), hand-crushed chilli, timmur, and jetho budho rice.
Alongside these, a broader range of products will also be introduced gradually across Nepal. These include traditional spices, dry fruits, indigenous grains, pulses, seeds, nuts, and ethnomedicinal herbs such as foxtail millet, proso millet, amaranth, bhuteko makai, belichan, chamomile, black turmeric, sweet basil, hemp seeds, jimbu, chiura, and many more.
This collaboration is a commitment to uplift farmers, revive traditional agricultural knowledge, and bring Nepali products from Nepali farms to Nepali households, a true farm to table initiative.
Dailo Krishi is a digital-first platform that connects Nepali farmers directly with consumers through a farm to table model. The company ensures quality by testing all products for freshness and safety.
Each product is traceable via QR codes, providing details about the farmers, origin, cultivation practices, nutritional value, and laboratory test results. With a wide range of farm produce and traditional goods, Dailo Krishi delivers across Nepal, making it easier for households to enjoy safe, authentic, and locally-sourced food.
