Genese Solution, a UK-based leading IT consulting and cybersecurity company, is conducting 15-day long IT training for local youth of Karnali region.
The training program, organized in collaboration with Birendranagar Municipality, commenced on May 22nd with 40 participants. Outstanding performers from the training will be chosen for internships, and top candidates from the internship will be further selected for job placement opportunities, the Company said.
The training includes information cloud computing, difference between premises infrastructure and scope in cloud computing, AWS and virtual machines.
The trainers include Nirmal Bastakoti, an AWS certified solution architect and Ashish Subedi, pre sales Engineer at Genese Solution.
Mayor of Birendranagar Municipality, Mohan Maya Bhandari (Dhakal), said the municipality had launched the training with the aim to upskill local youths and encourage them towards self-employment.
She said that the municipality will give priority in future employment to the trained youth and thanked Genese Solution for its invaluable support.
Genese Solution recently provided training and equipment to local youth in Bhojpur district in eastern Nepal.
“We are so happy to partner with local governments to train Nepali youth and equip them with employable skills in IT,” said Anjani Phuyal, founder and CEO of Genese Solution. He also thanked Birendranagar municipality for launching the initiative.
