Open Nepal Secretariat concluded its “Open Nepal: Event” on Wednesday marking an important milestone for Open Nepal, with rich discussions on strengthening systems for open data and transparency, promoting civic engagement, and exploring innovative data-driven solutions for governance and development.
The dignitaries’ active engagement in the sessions and panel discussions enriched the dialogue and inspired new ideas for fostering transparency and accountability across all tiers of government.
On the very occasion, the enhanced Open Nepal Portal, a centralized platform designed to provide key open data resources, tools, and initiatives to stakeholders was also launched. The very portal is hoped to become a valuable resource in work, enabling informed decision-making, improving transparency, and enhancing collaboration.
As per the organizers, they strive to make the Open Nepal Portal more effective and user-friendly and suggestions and ideas for the portal’s improvement will be heartily welcomed in the process. The sugeestion can be anything like additional features, usability, or types of datasets, your feedback is invaluable in helping us enhance the portal to better meet the needs of the community.
