Kathmandu University Robotics Club is going to organize the annual Robotics Exhibition “YARSA TECH AAVISHKAR 23” on March 2-3, 2023 at Dhulikhel, Nepal.
The Kathmandu University Robotics Club (KURC) is pleased to announce the upcoming annual Robotics Exhibition “Yarsa Tech Aavishkar 23 ”, which will take place on March 2-3, 2023 at Kathmandu University Central Campus. This exciting event will showcase the latest projects and activities of the KURC.
Kathmandu University Robotics Club (KURC) is an independent group of students in Kathmandu University which work in the field of Robotics to improve the vacant situation of uniting enthusiasts, developers, innovators, academicians etc. in Kathmandu university.
The Yarsa Tech Aavishkar Robotics Exhibition features six main events where participants can compete.
AQUABOT
A cleaning robot competition is competition under the event AAVISHKAR 23. The main motive of this competition is to clean the waste present in any water sources like lake or river. Robots participating in this competition have to clear the waste in the form of slits from the surface of water.
IDEATION
Idea Based Competition will bring individuals from different fields to the table acting as a cabinet of ministers who will draft solutions via mutual discussions. The program has been designed to guide the table through issues, discussion and decision-making.
HARDWARE HACKATHON
A hardware hackathon is a meeting of some of the most creative and tech-savvy minds and a breeding ground for innovation, as participants collaborate to try and create something entirely new and unique as quickly as possible.
PROJECT DEMONSTRATION
Project Demonstration is an open competition where participants should come up with a project which is capable of performing certain humanitarian tasks.Participants will have to demonstrate
their projects in front of the judges and public, and the winner will be decided considering the result of both judges and public voting.
ROBO RACE
Roborace is a competition between wireless-controlled robots racing on a track containing obstacles. The obstacles include a maze, suspension bridge, aggregate, sand, uphill, downhill, etc. The top six robots that complete the race track with a maximum number of points will be qualified for the final race. In the final race, the robots securing the maximum points will be declared the winner.
ROBO WAR
ROBOWAR comprises two words robot and war which basically means war between two robots, where players can create their own robots according to given specifications and program them to battle in the large arena. Robots can be trained to carry out routines to eliminate their adversaries.The one which pushes another out of the arena first wins.
There will be 11,000+ Audience, 300+ Competitors, 80+ Projects, 60+ Stalls and 45+ College visitors. Attendees will have the opportunity to see robots in action and learn more about how they are being used to solve real-world problems.
“Nurturing Visions” is the central theme of Yarsa Tech Aavishkar 23. This theme highlights the importance of fostering and supporting creative ideas, dreams and ambitions. The event aims to bring together individuals who are passionate about robotics, technology and innovation, to network, collaborate and exchange ideas.
In addition to the exciting competitions, KURC will also release Aavishkar, an annual magazine that showcases the latest developments in robotics technology and highlights the work of KURC members.
“We are thrilled to host the Aavishkar Robotics Exhibition and to showcase the latest advances in robotics technology,” said Love Kumar Chaudhary, coordinator of Aavishkar ‘23. “This event is a great opportunity for robotics enthusiasts to come together, share ideas, and learn from each other.”
