BYD Inaugurates State-Of-Art Service Center In Kathmandu

Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd., the Authorized Distributor of BYD Auto Industry Co. Ltd., in Nepal, has inaugurated the state-of-art BYD Service Center at Guheshwori, Kathmandu. The workshop was inaugurated by Mr. KulmanGhising, the Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).

This is a huge milestone for BYD with the introduction of State-of-Art Service Center with highly trained professionaland modern equipment with the aim to strengthen BYD’s position in Nepal.The service centre will offer an unmatched and unparalleled service experience like never before. As part of the workshop, two units of 40 kW AC Fast Charger has already been installed at the facility in Guheshwori, Kathmandu.

Yamuna Shrestha, the Managing Director of Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd., said, “We are moving aggressively ahead to promote Electric Mobility with BYD’s proven emissions-free technology in Nepal. We are convinced that with the introduction of the Workshop we will be able to provideuncompromised service to our clients. We will soon be inaugurating dealerships and service centers across nation.”

The workshop is spread across 27,000 sq. ft., with 6 service bay and expansion of upto 4 more in near future.Each bay is equipped with individual tool sets specialized for EVs. Along with the service center the workshop is also backed by a huge spare parts warehouse to deliver an unmatched servicing experience. Along with these the service station also has dedicated stations for dent paint services.
